The norwegian band Katzenjammer, founded in 2005, held a (free) mini-concert at Platekompaniet in Oslo City mall on saturday, october 4th. Platekompaniet isn’t exactly the ideal place for a concert, but in spite of that, the overall experience was surprisingly good (although short)!

It was with great joy that I found that The Zombies was going to play in Oslo the 27th of september 2008. I’m not a huge fan, but I’ve listened alot to music from the sixties throughout the years, and these guys are one of many bands I enjoy listening to. Two of the original members, Colin Blunstone (lead vocals) and Rod Argent (organ, vocals), along with Jim Rodford (bass, vocals), his son Steve Rodford (drums) and Keith Airey (guitar, vocals) were on stage at Parkteateret Scene, and gave a wonderful concert!

My very first meeting with the swedish artist Nina Kinert was february 17th 2007, when she was touring with Ane Brun. She was warming up before and supporting during Ane’s performance. This first time I saw her, it was after her second album (although some say it was the first) “Let there be love”. Never having heard any of her music before, I wasn’t really too enthusiastic about her.. I was there for Ane Brun. I guess as a result of this, I didn’t think anything special about her music. She didn’t stand out as a wow-artist for me at the time, and the songs weren’t very catchy either, for a first-time listen (but they have grown on me!).
